  14. Help! I am trying to use a file that has the extension .run. I had 
  15. assumed that this was a self-extracting archive since it has been a long 
  16. long time since I have actually played with an Amiga. I have to 
  17. archiving utils that I can't use be I can't get them unarchived and that 
  18. also keeps me from using most other software since most everything else 
  19. I have gotten that is worth anything is compressed by programs such as 
  20. dms and lha not lzh. I have been transferring these files by way of my 
  21. PC since I don't have any software to get on the net on my Amiga since I 
  22. can't get anything uncompressed. Would I possibly losing something in 
  23. the translation? Any help would be appreciated. Also if anyone could 
  24. tell where I could find some docs in text format listing various common 
  25. Amiga files types and what to do with them I would appreciate it. I have 
  26. looking all over Aminet but can't find anything. If you could e-mail I 
  27. would really appreciate it.
